Maria Louisa (1999) was born and raised in Kozani, Greece. She took her first violin lessons at the age of 6 at the Dimitris Dimopoulos Music School, from which she graduated taking her Diploma with "Excellent and 1st Prize".

At the age of fifteen, she was encouraged by her teachers to sit the admission exams for the Mozarteum University of Salzburg, and having succeeded, she registered for the class of Univ. Prof. Esther Hoppe, with whom she is still studying, currently for the Bachelor of Arts. While a student at the Mozarteum University, she also studied at the Musisches Gymnasium Salzburg, from which she received the Matura.

Having received numerous first prizes and distinctions from an early age, she was chosen to participate actively, among others, in chamber music programmes of the Kronberg Academy, masterclasses of the Sommerakademie Salzburg, and the Operacamp of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.

In her musical development she was highly influenced by: Zakhar Bron, Dimitris Chandrakis, Dimitris Dimopoulos and David McCarroll.

She was previously Leader and Soloist of the Symphonic Orchestra of the Musisches Gymnasium Salzburg, and she is currently Principal Second of the Salzburger Landesjugendorchester and member of the Orpheus Kammerorchester Wien.
